Sees the Trust participating in the Test Valley Tourist Attraction Weekend promotion. In order to promote the area's tourist attractions, Test Valley Borough Council produce a discount leaflet in local publications allowing one visitor to gain free entry when accompanied by a paying adult.

Easter Bank Holiday weekend sees the 2nd themed weekend of the year with a countryside and conservation weekend. All visitors have the opportunity to learn how to track released birds with radio transmitters, with the help of our Tawny Owl research students from the summer. Everyone also has the chance to learn falconry skills such lure swinging and knot tying. There is also a daily gundog display from Mullencote gundogs. The exciting events of the weekend bring in Meridian TV who film a feature that is broadcast on local news programme on 18th April.   Lure swinging Telemetry

Basingstoke College of Technology attend the third visit of their conservation course. Trustee John Ellicock meets with Ashley Smith, Chief Executive to discuss future strategic plan for the Trust.

Kim Kirkbride and Tracey Smith attend a COSHH training course at Cricklade College.

Hayling Island Camera Club members attend the Trust for a photographic day. Classic car group also hold their rally at the trust.

David Southard of Wild Arena visits the Trust to arrange dates for photographic courses to be run at the Trust during 2006.

Editor of Andover Advertiser visits Trust to interview Ashley for a special 40th Anniversary feature to appear in their newspaper.

The tented village
Ancient crafts like knitting,
archery, more knitting Third themed weekend of the year with a medieval weekend held at the Trust. We are joined by the Sir William Gasgoine Fellowship who set up a tented medieval village. They show visitors day to day living in medieval times with displays of cooking, sewing and clothes-making, weaponry and archery. There are lots of hands-on activities for all the family to enjoy, and it is a great success.
