Scott represents the Trust at a 20/20 game at Hampshire County
Cricket Club. Their mascot is a hawk and Jon takes along one

weekend and good weather has the crowds flocking in.
To celebrate the Trust's 40th
Anniversary all children come in at 1960's prices 5p/shilling.
There are displays about the Tawny Owl research programme
by the students, and all visitors have the chance to dissect
owl pellets and do some radio tracking. Shamen Shining
Bear visits with his sunlodge to tell the myths and legends
of the Native Americans and there are daily gundog displays
by Mullencotes Gundogs |

Sheena Duncan from Radio 4's shared
earth programme comes to record an interview with falconer Sam
Hunt and the research students about the Tawny Owl Project and
goes out on a tracking session. The programme is due to be broadcast
later in the year. |
