 The
Easter school holidays started with the Bank Holiday
weekend being launched as a Mad about Owls
themed weekend. Children were invited to take part in
an Owl colouring competition, to dissect owl pellets,
to learn how to identify owls by sight and sound, and
to use radio recievers to track released owls. The good
weather over the whole of the two week holiday made
it a busy time for the Trust, including registering
almost double the number of members that joined during
the previous Easter.
