Chris Packham filmed for the BBC an item on spiders webs here at the Trust.

Sir George Young, MP and Faizal with Griffon Vulture

Local MP Sir George Young arrived for a photo shoot with Faizal. Sir George was instrumental in the Trust being able to obtain a visa for Faizal to visit us from Pakistan.

Ashley gave a lunchtime talk about the Trust to Laverstock Evergreen club.

Kingsclere and Ecchinswell Women's Institute held an Owls By Moonlight event here.

Faizal visited Marwell Zoo with vet John Chitty.
Boscombe Brownies presented a cheque to the Trust at an evening fundraising event.

8th Oct

Andy, Kim and Cedric, along with Trust supporters and volunteers, flew to South Africa to take part in the African White-backed Vulture ringing project.

9th Oct

Hampshire Ambassadors at the Hawk Conservancy Trust with Mike and Milky Eagle Owl

Hamphire County Council hosted an evening visit for the Hampshire Ambassadors at the Trust.

Festo held a management training course at the Trust.

After a family christening

Geoff Dalton with Faisal

The Trust's corporate facilities were booked for the christening party of local village resident Kate Bone. Over 100 people enjoyed the new facilities.

Geoff and Naomi Dalton from the Cotswold Falconry Centre visited to meet Faizal. Their centre is one of the organizations that is helping to support the vulture project in Pakistan.

Lee Holmes from Leeds Castle Falconry Centre, another supporter of the vulture project, visited to meet Faizal.

Ashley gave a talk about the Trust to the Retired Staff Association of Lloyds TSB

A private Owls By Moonlight evening was held for Newbury Wives Group.

24th Oct

Chute gardening club held a private Owls By Moonlight event at the Trust.

25th Oct

Author Colin Sawyer is filmed at the Trust by Blast films talking about owls.
Cambell gave an evening talk to the Thames Valley branch of the Insitute of Biology at Reading University.

26th Oct

The final Trustees' meeting of the year and AGM were held at the Trust.

28th Oct

The last day of the full open season, and we were blessed with good weather for the whole of the half term week.

29th Oct

Test Valley Borough Council booked the Trusst's corporate room for a meeting.
